Jazz in the Park

Jazz on the Lawn is back for nights of smooth sounds and beautiful views. Now in its 35th year, the county introduces new artists for the five-week series. Catch Keiko Matsui, Spyro Gyra, Jonathan Butler, Kirk Whalum and Jackiem Joyner with Jessy J on May 17, 24, 31 and June 7, respectively. While food vendors are available onsite, picnics are welcome and encouraged. Doors open at 4 p.m. with first-come, first-served seating. Punk Rock Bowling

When bowling and punk rock join forces, beautiful things occur. Punk Rock Bowling is a hands-on concert series in Downtown Las Vegas that brings together everyone’s favorite league sport and a three-day festival with bands like Social Distortion, Fidlar and The Interrupters taking the stage. Activities include late-night afterparties spanning Thursday through Monday for popular bands to showcase their talents, pool parties at the Downtown Grand Hotel Citrus pool deck and, of course, a two-day bowling tournament with intense playoff events and prize money. Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade

Summerlin’s favorite summer tradition returns for its 2025 event. The Council Patriotic Parade draws tens of thousands of attendees each year to watch floats and balloons file through the streets. Begin on Hillpointe Road and follow the splendor to Spring Gate Lane. This will be the 30th anniversary of Summerlin’s first patriotic parade.
